Chamber Easter Egg Hunt
Spring is quickly approaching and the planning of our annual Easter Egg Hunt has already begun. This event is sponsored by THE NEW MELLE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE and is FREE to all who attend. We will have free pictures with the Easter Bunny, refreshments and hopefully a lot of GREAT PRIZES!
This year the Easter Egg Hunt will take place on Saturday, March 27th at the New Melle Lakes Golf Course at 10:00 am. Please mark your calendars and tell all of your family, friends and clients.

METS (Math, Engineering, Technology, Science) Breakfast
Sponsors: EDC and League of Chambers
Date: March 5, 2010 (Continental Breakfast) 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. No Charge
Reservation necessary – 636-441-6880
Location: Old Hickory Golf Club, 1 Dye Club Dr., off Mid Rivers Drive about ½ mile north of Highway 94 on the east side
Purpose: To recognize students who have participated in classes and events pertaining to Math, Engineering, technology, and Science
     
Saint Charles Chambers of Commerce
Legislative Day at the Capitol
     
Date: March 30th 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon  
Location: The House Lounge  
Speakers will be there from MODOT (hopefully Pete Rahn) and Economic Development as well as Speaker of the House and Senate President pro-Tem. Area legislators will be invited. Lunch will be on your own. You can visit the Legislators offices. Staff will be available if leg­islators are not. If you don’t care to drive yourself call the Wentzville Chamber (636-327-6914) or the Saint Charles Chamber (636-946-0633).

Important issues for Saint Charles County are in the areas of transportation, economic develop­ment, education and workforce development, taxation and the budget, and tax increment financ­ing (specifically the definition of blight).

Take your concerns to your area legislators.

PUBLIC FORUM NOTICE


St. Charles County is in the process of updating its Master Plan. Draft land use map concepts have been prepared based upon community input and the projected land use needs for 2020. These draft plans will be available for public review and comment on March 18, 2008 in Room 115 of the County Administration Building, 201 North Second Street, St. Charles, Missouri between 7:00 pm and 8:30 pm. County Planning staff will be available to discuss the maps and take comments regarding these draft documents.
