The New Melle Chamber of Commerce had an awesome time at our April Social ,Happy Hour at Cori’s Twin Gables Bar & Grill !

A huge thank you to Cori, her amazing staff, and everyone who came out to relax, connect, and enjoy a beautiful evening on the patio. The food, drinks, and atmosphere made for a fantastic night of networking and community fun.

It’s always great seeing Chamber members and local supporters come together outside of meetings to build relationships and support fellow local businesses.

What an amazing celebration of art, community, and local support!

A huge thank you to the talented artists and committee of the Augusta Plein Air Art Festival for bringing such creativity and beauty to our area. We are also incredibly grateful to The Quarry for hosting this wonderful event and to PSB Bank for sponsoring the purchase prize and wine bar.

Special thanks also go out to our 2026 Chamber Sponsors, the Sudbrock family, our Chamber members who helped organize and attend, and all of the incredible community members who volunteered their properties, donated snacks and refreshments for the artists, and came out to support the event.

Hey New Melle Chamber of Commerce members — did you know you have a FREE opportunity to promote your business every Saturday at the New Melle Farmer’s Market ?

The Chamber is teaming up with the Farmer’s Market this season to provide a dedicated Chamber Booth where members can showcase their businesses, services, products, and community involvement. It’s a great way to connect with shoppers, network with vendors, and increase visibility for your business in the community.

Here’s how you can participate:

Attend an upcoming Chamber meeting
Drop off your business cards, brochures, flyers, or promotional materials
Sign up to help oversee the Chamber booth on a rotating Saturday schedule

You can stay the entire market or just stop by for part of the morning — every bit of participation helps spotlight our amazing local businesses!

The New Melle Chamber of Commerce would like to extend a big thank you to Bavarian Smoke Haus for hosting our March Social & Networking event. The atmosphere, food, and hospitality made it the perfect setting for members and guests to come together.

If you’re planning to start or expand your backyard flock this year, now is the time to place your order before supplies run out.

Pre-Order Your Favorite Breeds

Straatmann Feed & Transfer offers several popular breeds for backyard flocks, including:

The New Melle Chamber of Commerce is proud to spotlight a community initiative from our member New Melle Dental that helps support dogs in need.

New Melle Dental is currently hosting a Dog Supply Donation Bin, and they are inviting the community to contribute items that can help local rescue organizations and shelters care for dogs.

The donation bin is conveniently located just inside the front door, making it easy for anyone to stop by and drop off supplies.

Items Needed

Donations that are especially helpful include:

�� Dog food and treats

�� Toys and chew items

�� Leashes and collars

�� Blankets and dog beds

These everyday items can make a big difference in helping rescue groups care for animals while they wait for their forever homes.

Donation Guidelines

To ensure the supplies can be safely used, New Melle Dental asks that donations meet a few simple guidelines:

Please do not donate expired food

Linens and dog beds should be clean

Items should be in usable condition

Volunteer Opportunities

There are several ways to get involved before and during the event:

Volunteers are needed to help:

Label and sort prizes for the hunt
Pick up and return a decorative tree/flower from Frisella’s Nursery

These preparation tasks help ensure everything is ready for the big day.

Saturday, April 4, 2026

�� New Melle Sports & Recreation
⏰ 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Volunteer roles include:

Field Work – Set up the hunt areas and help manage the egg hunts
Prize Table Helpers – Assist families with prize distribution
Move Prizes – Help transport items from St. Paul’s Lutheran to New Melle Sports & Rec
Event Emcee/Announcer – Help guide the event using a provided script
Event Clean-Up – Assist with packing up and restoring the area after the hunt
Return Items to Storage – Volunteers with vehicles are especially helpful for this task

Many of these roles require 8–10 volunteers , so there are plenty of opportunities to lend a hand.

The New Melle Chamber of Commerce is proud to spotlight one of our members and sponsors, The Quarry , as they host a fun and scenic social event this spring.

On April 4th from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM , The Quarry will welcome Fore The Girls STL for a relaxed brunch and golf gathering overlooking one of the most unique golf settings in the St. Louis area.

A Saturday Brunch With a View

Hosted by Maggie Lessel , this casual gathering is designed for women who want to enjoy a morning of good food, drinks, and golf with friends. Guests will have access to The Quarry’s beautiful back patio, upper golf patio, and all golf hitting bays , making it the perfect place to enjoy the outdoors and great company.

Brunch will be served à la carte , allowing guests to order their favorites directly from the restaurant.

Menu highlights include:

Chicken & waffles
Brioche French toast
Pancakes
Biscuits & gravy
Yogurt parfait

And of course, brunch wouldn’t be complete without drinks. Bottomless mimosas and Bloody Marys will be available for purchase , so carpooling or ridesharing is encouraged if you plan to partake.

One of the highlights of the morning is The Quarry’s floating green over the water , a unique feature that adds a fun twist to the golf experience.

New Melle Chamber of Commerce Welcomes 2026 Officers

As the New Melle Chamber of Commerce enters the Holiday months (no member meeting in December/ January), it closes another productive year, we extend our heartfelt appreciation to 2025 Chamber President Jackie Ginther for her steadfast leadership, vision, and commitment to progress.

Under Jackie’s direction, the Chamber achieved a series of impactful milestones that have strengthened both its structure and its outreach:

Launched a brand-new website through Chamber Nation, providing members and the community with improved access to resources and events.

Restructured the Chamber budget and introduced tiered sponsorship levels , ensuring sustainable growth and transparent operations.

Revitalized monthly meetings with dynamic guest speakers—an initiative that has continued to generate scholarship funds for local students.

Led efforts to streamline Chamber records and meeting minutes , improving the flow of communication and marketing efficiency.

Guided the team through a comprehensive records review and multiple bylaw updates , modernizing the organization’s governance and enhancing member engagement.

Thanks to Jackie’s dedication, the Chamber experienced tremendous growth in both new and continuing memberships throughout 2025.

Looking ahead to 2026, the Chamber proudly announces its newly elected officers:
