Spring is right around the corner, and that means chick season is here! The New Melle Chamber of Commerce is excited to highlight our member Straatmann Feed & Transfer, who is now taking pre-orders for baby chicks arriving April 1.
If you’re planning to start or expand your backyard flock this year, now is the time to place your order before supplies run out.
Pre-Order Your Favorite Breeds
Straatmann Feed & Transfer offers several popular breeds for backyard flocks, including:

Some breeds may sell out quickly, and quantities are limited, so early ordering is encouraged.
Important Ordering Information
Before placing your order, please note the following details:
All chick orders are pre-pay only
Orders are limited — once pre-order quantities sell out, no additional chicks will be ordered
Chicks are sexed with approximately 90% accuracy
Chicks are not vaccinated
No refunds once chicks leave the store or for incorrect sex
Pickup date is April 1 and chicks must be picked up that day
